Botanica is a boutique candle & apothecary company committed to supporting charitable organizations across the globe. Botanica donates $1 from each candle from the Signature Collection to region-specific non-profit organizations in the areas indigenous to the candle’s fragrance ingredients. Born from Creative Director Katie Gastley’s vision of bringing the highest quality naturally effective ingredients into affordable, well-designed bath, body, and home products, Botanica aims at producing beautiful and luxurious products you feel good using, as well as purchasing.

We strive to create beautifully fragranced products with the highest quality ingredients, while committing to contributing a portion of our profits to charities across the globe. In our efforts, we hope to work together toward the goal of ecological, societal, and environmental sustainability.

When designing products for world that often could do without “more things,” Botanica strives to make a net positive impact on the people and planet. In addition to our built-in One For Good mission, by creating useful products that fit into a circular economy, Botanica founder Katie Gastley draws on her studies in sustainable design at Pratt Institute to strive for a cradle to cradle method of manufacturing. From using recyclable materials in packaging, sourcing safe and non-toxic raw materials for products, designing candle vessels specifically to be up-cycled, Botanica considers every facet of their business as an opportunity to develop more sustainable production methods and practices. By continually striving to raise the bar on environmental consideration in their own business practices, Botanica intends to help pioneer a new phase of economic industry that is by default enmeshed in sustainability.
